Thank you for your interest in VEEEX. VEEEX is an equity fund investing in Central and Eastern Europe, one of the most dynamic regions globally. Our main goal is to achieve high risk-adjusted returns. We believe the best way to do this is by investing in well-managed businesses with consistent operating histories and financial performance that have favourable long-term economic prospects, generate free cash flow, and are traded below intrinsic value. We determine fair intrinsic value by our proprietary valuation model, where we try to make realistic and prudent assumptions about long-term profitability, growth rates, and cost of capital. We believe that growth must be value-enhancing for shareholders and is therefore always a component in our calculation of value and that price and value ultimately converge.
We are active in still-emerging markets. Therefore, we pay strong attention to actively managing and limiting the risks in our fund. We prefer to be invested in liquid stocks, where we are able to buy/sell a position within a couple of days without having a major impact on market prices and prevailing normal market conditions. We only buy stocks which we consider significantly undervalued and we try to ensure that the positions are well diversified among countries and sectors. We sell stocks once the fair value has been reached, as we prefer to hold cash rather than positions in stocks of which we are not fundamentally convinced.
